Kyra was a member of the inaugural class of the Uptown Collective’s Renaissance Playwright Residency as well as a member of Dramatic Question Theatre’s Playtime and Workshop Theater’s Playwright Development Programs.

She was a Mellon Funded Producing Fellow at The Tank NYC, and currently the Producing Resident with National Black Theatre and a CIPA Emerging Producers Fellow. She has worked on productions at The Flea Theater, The Apollo, and Soho Rep.

Kyra is passionate about creating space and expanding access for emerging Black artists who are still finding their voice. Her work is grounded in community, care, and the radical act of living unapologetically.
